Went fishing to San Carlos on friday with my buddy Dean. It's east southest of Globe, AZ. We caught close to 50 with 5-6 like this one:

I didnt see any fishing rods in there....NOW i have cabin fever...thanks alot.
They are in the upright rod holders attached to each side of the bulkhead (out of the picture). All 6 of them ;)

We're taking our Jayco TT up to Heber, AZ ~ April 1st to our new seasonal site called "Elk Pines" and it will stay there thru October.
I can't wait to get our new aluminum Crestliner fishing boat out on some of those lakes up on the rim and to just kick back in the pines. It will be a great escape from the summer heat here in the valley.
We have had the boat out already for a few test runs - here's a few pics of Saguaro Reservoir a few weeks ago. My son Taylor is at the helm.

Wow - my team (Denver Broncos) have been out for months but this is a historic year. I'm surprised at the number of non-watchers. For our neighbors to the north I understand - but please know I never miss a Stanley Cup game either :B

My 17 year old son (Taylor) and I took the fishing boat out on Saguaro Resevoir Jan 21st. Fishing was slow but it was a gorgeous day and a good early season test for the boat for when the fishing heats up in a few weeks.

Back from 11 days in FL (Jax Beach). Stayed at my brother's condo a block from the beach. Here is a soft shelled crab sandwich I had to get a pic of. We were at Barnacle Bill's in St. Augustine.

I guess I posted scenic pics in the wrong picture thread? ;) Confusing - here is a scenic picture post I posted on the other thread.
Here are a couple more shots from WY (North of Dubois). I love to dry camp at a National Forest campground called "Double Cabin". It is right on the edge of a wilderness area, and just above the confluence of two large creeks that ultimately feed into the Wind River. The first 2 shots are from my favorite campsite, right at the edge of the trees. I have been camping there for close to 40 years. My grandpa taught me to fly fish in Wiggins and Frontier creeks below the campground when I was 8 years old. They are considering closing the area for grizzly habitat which is great for the bears but would break my heart. There is even petrified wood in the creeks that wash down every year from upstream in the wilderness area.
